It was a rough year in the CIF playoffs for High Desert League girls basketball. Of the four teams that qualified for playoffs, only Rosamond advanced past the 1st round.  Bishop, Desert, and Kern Valley all dropped their first round games.
The Desert girls basketball team lost to Fowler in the  first round of the division 5 playoffs  52-51.
Kern Valley lost in the first round to Washington union 53-58.
High Desert league champion Rosamond won in the first round defeating East Bakersfield 43-36 advancing to the second round of playoffs which they lost to Coalinga 32-34. Coalinga defeated Bishop in the opening round.
