The Broncos Varsity Boys took on Desert on Tuesday 1/31 in Desert. The Broncos played a must win league game against Desert for a chance at the league championship. The Broncos started the game of slow trialing at the end of the first quarter by 8 points. The broncos came out in the second quarter strong though and they battled back from the 8 point defecit and ended the first half leading by 1 .

The Broncos had a tough thrid quarter getting outscored by 5 points. The broncos once again battled back from a defecit in the 4th quarter and it was a hard fought battle all the way until the final buzzer. With help from Senior cain Omohundro and Sophomores Ty Arcularius and Chris Charley hitting clutch shots in the fourth to bring the Broncos within 2 points with 2 seconds left. The Broncos fell apart at the end though and suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Desert Scorpions.

The Broncos still have a chance at being co-champions with the Rosamond Roadrunners if desert beats them in their final game of the season.
