Bishop Soccer Squashes California City

On Saturday, January 21st the Bishop Lady Broncos traveled to California City since their game against them got canceled on January 10th due to rain. The first half of the game ended 2-0 with the Broncos having a 2 goal lead while in the second half of the game the Broncos scored 3 more goals which ended the game 5-0 winning the Broncos there 8th league game.

Alyssa Buchholz started the charge by putting the ball in the back of the net when she received a pass from Brooklyn Braaten. On the other hand Ellie Crall sored the second goal of the first half of the game from Kenia Gonzalez. In the second half of the game, Ellie Crall put the ball off the net of a corner kick from Captain JuliAnna Jackson. Jillian Veenker put the ball in from throwing and JuliAnna Jackson scored the third goal of the second period from a pass from Ellie Crall.

The Bishop Lady Broncos are currently first in league while also scoring a total of 61 goals during all their games and allowing one goal being made in the league. Also the Bishop Lady Broncos would like to thank Cal City Ravens for their hospitality and friendly play. The next game for the Lady Broncos will be on Tuesday, January 24, against Mammoth in their home game for the second time since they won their first one 2-1 winning against Huskies.
