Bishop Broncos Defeated the Bobcats

On Thursday January 12, the Girls Soccer Team traveled to Boron so they could play against the Bobcats and the teams had to be eight vs. eight since many players of the Bobcats had an illness.

The final score in the game was 12-0 with Senior and captain JuliAnna Jackson leading the charge with 3 goals while her last goal was a header. Some other players that scored in the game were Brooklyn Braeten, Elizabeth Ellsworth, Kenia Gonzalez, Claire Vettter, Zoe Daily, Morgan Boothe, Gabby Veenker, and Riley Van Nest all scored one goal. One of the Junior Brooklyn Braeten had an assist with three goals, while Jillian Veenker and Ellie Crall both had two assists with goals.

The Bishop Lady Broncos would like to thank the Boron Bobcats for their hospitality and great sportsmanship. The next game will be on Tuesday the 17th against Kern Valley and they are playing at home.
