Bishop Broncos Annihilate Caruthers

On Thursday, November 10, Bishop Broncos traveled Caruthers High School and won with an ending score of 49-16. Both teams played at their best and overall it was a great game. Coach Palu addressed some of the accomplishments achieved in the game, he said, “The offense operated as proficient as an offense ever had,” and that the first half of the game was going extremely well, that the team just “relaxed.” Overall the game was fantastic, and the Broncos had a great win.
In the first quarter of the game, the Broncos were leading by one point, and throughout the game, both teams were giving it all they got. In the first half of the game, Coach Palu addressed that the team “did a lot of touchdown drives.” Caruthers was also successful, but the team overall did “fantastic.”
Coach Palu also said that, “They allowed the late scoring drive in the second quarter,” but they achieved their goal at Caruthers and the entire team was proud of the improvement from the Yosemite game to Caruthers. Lastly, Palu gave us a heads up for the next CIF game and said, “They will play with more discipline so they will be ready for anything.”
