Tuesday night showcased the first round of the 2022 CIF Central Section Girls Volleyball Championships – Division IV. The Bishop Broncos played the Tehachapi Warriors to move on to the next bracket in the tournament. The Broncos started off the match strong, beating the Warriors 25-16 in the first set. From there on out, it was a dogfight for each set. Tehachapi eventually triumphed, 25-21 in the second set, 25-23 in the third set, and finally 25-18 in the last set. The Bronco’s season is sadly over, but they still had a great one. The Broncos went 21-8 (wins-losses) overall. In total, they had 629 kills, 92 blocks, and 462 digs among all their players. The Broncos look forward to another season next year.
