John Cortes is a 17-year-old senior here at BUHS. John loves music and is really into skating and riding bikes. What got John into riding bikes was that when he was younger he had an unreliable bike and he hit some dirt jumps, from then he fell in love with the feeling of bikes. His favorite trick to do on a bike is to nose 360 out of a quarter pipe. His favorite trick for skateboarding is a 5O to smith on a quarter pipe. John’s favorite sports are extreme sports like biking, skateboarding, football, and snowboarding. Something he enjoys doing outside of school is skating and making music. John’s favorite type of music to listen to is everything except for country and RnB. He started making music about a year and a half ago and it contains a lot of rap and hip-hop. John started making music because he really loves music and really has studied people’s rhythm and flow and listening and studying to that got him into making music and so that’s how he started. John’s plans after high school are he plans to pursue music and make a career out of it. His biggest inspiration in music is an artist that goes by the name of Joey BasA$$.
