Softball Season Ends at #1 Boron

The Broncos softball season came to an end Monday at Boron.  The Broncos fought hard but fell to the Bobcats for the third time this season.  The game marked the end of the careers of five graduating players, Pitcher Geneva Molina, Shortstop Kayla Jackson, Leftfielder Leilani Torres, Third Baseman Jaylee Doll, and Second Baseman Lyndsey Rowan.  

Monday Stats

Pitching
Geneva Molina started the game and went into the 5th inning.  Giving up 6 runs on 8 hits, 2BB and 6 K’s.  3 earned runs.

Baileigh Momberg came on in relief in the 5th inning.  Momberg gave up no runs, 1 hit, 3K’s.

Offense 

Jayda Jackson had 1 hit and scored in the 5th.

Deborah Fallingstar came in to pinch hit in the 7th and hit a double over the left fielder’s head.  Leilani Torres came to run and scored on a base hit by Jaylee Doll.
