Bishop Broncos Remain Unbeaten in League

Broncos defend unbeaten title at Tuesday’s evening home game against Rosamond over the spring break. With a final score of Bishop 7 and Rosamond 5. Defensively, Geneva Molina pitched 7 innings 10k’s, 3 hits, 3 walks, 1 hit batter, and only two earned runs. 

The Broncos continued their winning ways this previous Tuesday at another home game, against the Cal City Ravens. With Bishop leading and finishing with a score of 7-1. The Bishop pitchers combined for a 1 hitter. Pitchers Baileigh Momberg, got the start pitching 4 innings striking out 9 and walking 5, while Geneva Molina threw the final 3 striking out 6, walking 3 and giving up 1 hit. 

In the bottom of the 6th inning with 2 outs, Jaylee Doll got a base hit and made it to 2nd on a bad throw. Kayla Jackson came to bat and hit a 2 run homerun. Their next appearance will be on the road at Boron on Friday 4/8.
