Bishop Broncos Dominate Cal City 30-3

Albert Cano, Jake Frigerio, Cain Omohundro, and Reese Dondero led their team to victory by each scoring  4 runs Tuesday.  The Broncos made quick work of visiting California City winning by a final score of 30-3. Bishop Broncos got on the board in the first inning by scoring two runs when Riley Eropkin homered. Riley Eropkin’s first-inning home run was his first of the season.

The Bishop Broncos blew the game open in the third inning scoring 18 runs. The offense was led by Acie Valdivia, Caleb Gillem, Kennedy Batchelder, Riley Eropkin, Albert Cano, and Valdivia, who all drove in runs.

Hector Martinez, Riley Eropkin, Caleb Gillem, and Acie Valdivia each scored 3 runs. Bodie Garcia and Kennedy Batchelder each scored 1 run.

Bishop Broncos didn’t commit a single error. Reese Dondero had the most chances in the field with five. Bishop Broncos stole 19 bases during the game as five players had stolen more than one Cain Omohundro led the way with six stolen bases.
