Eight Bishop Union High School Track and Field runners traveled to Dinuba on February 26th to run in the Central Valley Relay.

Runners Ashley Fitt and Diego Honda won the boy’s and girl’s 1600 race, Fitt had a time of 5:53.28 and Honda had a time of 4:47.51.

The 4×800 team consisting of Diego Honda, Alexander Adkins, Ezra Spoonhunter, and Denzel Gomez placed second with a time of 9:23.94.

The Track and Field team also brought a triple Jumper, Joe Almeida who placed 3rd with a Personal Record of 34 feet 5 inches. Almeida also got a new Personal Record in his Long Jump with a distance of 15 feet 7 inches.

Runner Denzel Gomez who is a Freshman along with Senior Braeden McGrale were also seen setting Personal Records at the Central Valley Relay.

The Track and Field Team will be heading to Bakersfield for the Liberty Invitational.
