The Bishop Wrestling Team has earned 5th place in a tournament at Arroyo High in El Monte. The wrestlers competing were Renee Ashworth, Will Hennarty, Carson Schmidt, John Drew and Zayn Crockett.

“I was very pleased with how well everyone on the team wrestled,” Coach Kodsart Denaro said. “The level of competition was perfect.” 

“This is the first team trophy that the Broncos have brought home in many years,” Assistant Coach Mark Hodges said. “To finish in 5 th place out of 18 teams with only 5 wrestlers is impressive! Their hard work in the wrestling room is paying off.”
