Bronco football had their first game Friday, April 9th against Carruthers Highschool. The game ended with Carruthers beating the Broncos 26-12. Some stats from some of our Broncos are Joe Weaver with 9 tackles on defense, 41 yards rushed, 7 passes caught for 81 yards, a touchdown, and Overall Player of the game. Clay Omohundro completed 15 outta 25 passes for 189 yards, threw a touchdown, rushed 65 yards, and was also awarded Offensive player of the game. Zach Mojarro was the Special Team player of the game with a 91-yard kickoff return touchdown. Luis Cruz had 13 total tackles and 2 forced fumbles which made him a Defensive player of the game. The Bronco’s next game will be against Orosi Highschool Friday, April 30th.
