The time for testing is coming up quickly, so be ready to go. The ASVAB, or Armed Services Vocational Assessment Battery, is today, April 15th. If you miss the ASVAB this year, you may always take it at a later date. The next PSAT is scheduled for October 16, 2021, available to every class. If you take the PSAT as a junior, you can submit your scores for NMSQT or the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Also, you can utilize Khan Academy for tailored help on practicing for subjects on the SAT. The SAT is optional for students in the graduating classes of 2021 and 2022, at least for California Universities. The upcoming SAT is on June 5th; the last day to register for it is May 6th. Next year SATs will take place in October and December, with the last time class of 22 seniors can take it is December 5th. The ACT is tomorrow, April 17th, with the next one occurring in October 2021 followed by February 2022 and April 2022. AP tests are coming up in May, and if you score higher than a 3/5 on the test, you will receive college credit for the class that you took; although, the AP classes are taught at a college or near-college level.
