Varsity Girls with a Successful Home Opener

Varsity girls softball kicked off their home opener with a walk-off against Lone Pine. The girls battled their way through the whole game knowing what needed to be done to have the score end 8-7.

Coach VanNest made a comment on the game and her girls saying that, “I’m super proud of the girls for playing hard and never giving up.”

Lone Pine had a 7-5 lead heading into the bottom of the 7th inning.  Junior Dakota Reynolds started the inning off with a home run.  The rally concluded with Avery Swanson driving in Isa Vasquez to win the game.

The Bishop Broncos are going into league 2-3 overall and will next play at Rosamond on Tuesday March 17th.
