Award winning author Terri Farley is coming to our very own school to host a creative writing workshop! I have personally been working on this project for over a year and I can’t even begin to explain my excitement over the fact that it’s all finally happening. Along with Terri, Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, Melissa Farlow is also accompanying Terri to talk about the book they collaborated on, Wild at Heart. Terri has written Wild at Heart, Seven Tears into the Sea, and the Phantom Stallion Series. If you have even the slightest interest in creative writing, I urge you to tell your English teacher and they will sign you up for the workshop. This is an amazing opportunity to talk and learn from a published author and photographer so I implore you all to take advantage of this opportunity and not throw away your shot! Ultimately, this entire workshop is for you, the students. I am so happy to have been a part of this project and I look forward to seeing what author we get next year for our new creative writing workshop, Community Writes.
