Arnie Palu is his name and journalism is his game. Mr. Palu is a new teacher at Bishop High school, before he started this wonderful career, he worked as an amazing  journalist for KIBS/KBOV. Palu worked at our local radio station for 15 years, it must have been one hard Good Bye to leave KIBS/KBOV. Arnie was asked if he “always wanted to be a teacher or was it a spur of the moment thing?” He answered that being a coach he always thought of himself as a teacher but he never thought he was going to be in a classroom. When did Mr. Palu get into this career? He has always had an interest in sports news in particular. Being in his youth he always imaged that he was doing play by play broadcasts. Journalism is what Palu’s degree is in from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where he studied journalism. After college he moved to Colorado and worked there for a year. When that year was done he came here to our small town of Bishop, California.
