Farewell Golden Haired Daniel Mayhugh
October 1, 2019
Senior Daniel Mayhugh is up and leaving the grounds of BUHS. Most people know who Mayhugh is because of his yellow hair and loud out-going personality. I had the opportunity to ask him some questions before he leaves.
When I asked Mayhugh about how he felt about leaving BUHS a quarter through his senior year he replied with, “ I’m kind of pissed, kind of sad, definitely not stoked.”
Over the time Mayhugh has attended BUHS he has been involved with football and wrestling his freshman and sophomore year. For the start of this year Mayhugh was a part of Bronco Round-up’s Sports Staff covering Varsity volleyball.
During the time Mayhugh lived here the person who had the biggest impact on his life was, “Amelia Marcuson definitely had the biggest impact, she really opened my eyes and also allowed me to look back and reflect. I’m not sure where I would be and who I would be without her”, he stated.
After graduating from Fernley High School Mayhugh plans on moving to Oregon where he will be going to college to study Forestry Conservation, eventually then working for Forest Service.
Mayhugh’s last day attending BUHS will be Friday, October 4th. He will be greatly missed and we can’t wait for him to visit.
