Broncos Fall Off at Rim of the World

Broncos vs. RIM

The varsity football team was on the road again Friday heading to Rim of the World attempting to put another win under their belts before their league play starts on the 20th. The first quarter both teams held steady keeping each other at 0-0.

The Broncos boys started off the game early in the second quarter with a 91-yard interception return for a touchdown by sophomore Kennedy Batchelder. Senior Luke McClean scored a 56-yard touchdown in the first half putting the Broncos up 14-12 at half time.

In the third quarter, the kicker Christian Morales scored a 26-yard field goal adding three points to the Broncos score. Tristan Valle had a big defensive game including a 75-yard return setting up Morales’ field goal.

RIM fought back in the fourth quarter pushing 8 points on the Broncos making the score 20-17.

Tomorrow the Broncos play at Edwards Airforce Base starting their HDL play.
