Bishop Boys Extend Win Streak to 5 Games
The Mineral County Serpents made the trip to Bishop last week to take on the Broncos who were really starting to hit their stride. The Broncos put up 2 runs in the first, 5 in the second, and 3 in the third before even giving up a run. The Serpents put up 4 runs in the top of the fourth, but in the bottom of the sixth, the Broncos put up 4 runs to end the game at a final score of 14-4.

The Broncos traveled to Cal-City on Tuesday to take on the Ravens, who have their fair share of struggles this season. The Broncos plated 2 runs in the first, 5 runs in the second, 11 runs in the third, and 2 more in the fourth before the Ravens finally brought home their sole run of the game in the bottom of the fourth. The Broncos then brought home 5 more runs in the fifth before setting down the Ravens in the bottom half of the inning to bring an end to the massacre at a final score of 25-1. Kennedy Batchelder and Billy McKinzy made their varsity debuts in the game as well and had good games as well. The stats from the game and the league standings are right here:
