Bishop Beats Frazier To Finish Off First Half of League

The Broncos came into yesterday’s game looking to finish the first half of league on a high note with a road win. The game was kicked off by a lead-off inside the park home run by Sophomore Braeden Gillem who started off the Bronco’s 3 run first inning. The team jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the next two innings before the Falcons got on the board in the bottom of the third inning with their first run of the game. The two teams went back and forth for the remaining four innings with the Falcons scoring just enough runs to keep from being 10-run-ruled. The game came to a close with Jalen Watterson securing the final out on the mound in the 14-3 Bronco win.

The Broncos will take on Rim of the World at the Tatum Family Field this Friday and Saturday before resuming league play.
