Butterflies

I’m in love with the butterflies in my chest

How when I’m with you I am at my best

How I just forget about all the rest

I’m in love with the butterflies in my chest

All the joy rides through the late nights

All the moments that felt just right

When you’d hold me oh so tight

When We’d go out by the river

A little kiss I gave her

What all the others think I don’t care

Cuz this feeling I have is oh so rare

The Breath from my lungs you do take

Just like some stupid vape

To hear my doorbell ring

and let in all the warm fuzzy feelings that you bring

Cuz I’m in love with the butterflies in my chest

How when I’m with you I am at my best

How I just forget about all the rest

I’m in love with the butterflies in my chest
