Broncos Take Down Roadrunners in League Opener

Bishop Defends Their Home Turf, Send Fans Home Happy

The Broncos came into last night’s game looking to rebound from last weeks loss against the Ridgecrest Burroughs. The Rosamond Roadrunners came into town and the Broncos were looking to walk away with a win in their first league matchup of the season. The Broncos started out strong getting out to an early 18-9 lead and they never looked back. Bishop ended the first half of the game leading the Roadrunners 32-20. The third period was just as strong for the Broncos, extending their already healthy lead to 51-28, and despite being outscored 16-12 in the fourth quarter, Bishop still walked away with a 63-44 victory over Rosamond.

The Broncos will look to build on this win and improve their league record when they travel to Edwards Air Force Base this Friday to take on the Desert Scorpions, so remember to wish them luck.
