TODAY’s ANNOUNCEMENTS:
JUNIORS & SENIORS:  TODAY , you will be attending a presentation in the auditorium during 2nd period.  Report
to 2nd period for roll and then head to the auditorium with your teacher.  Your attention and best behavior is
expected and will be appreciated.
SENIORS – THE LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE TODAY:    Please watch your formatting, your
application should remain a 4‐page document.  When you are ready to submit it . . . Don’t “share it” to the email
address!  Save it as a document (or convert to a PDF) and attach it to your email to the following address:  
[email protected].   Applications sent after the deadline will not be accepted. ALSO, you will
receive 2 EMAILS validating:  1‐ submission of your application AND 2‐review of your application.  Check your
emails!   
OUTDOOR CLUB MEETING:    TODAY at lunch in Mrs. Kress’ room (204).
CSF SEE’S CANDY ORDERS:  Order forms are due TODAY.  If you are not selling candy, your $10 dues are also due
that same day!
SPIRIT SQUAD TRYOUTS!   TODAY at 4:30 PM.  Questions?  See Mrs. Martinez in room 137!   
CANCER AWARENESS WEEK BEGINS MONDAY, MARCH 27th!  Starting next week support our
campus efforts to support the CANCER AWARENESS EFFORTS!   Monday wear gray (brain
cancer awareness), Tuesday wear Pink (Breast Cancer), Wednesday wear orange (Lymphoma),
Thursday wear Blue (Ovarian and Colon cancer), Friday wear purple (all cancer).  Look for fliers
around campus and for donation boxes in your classrooms!
BOYS/GIRLS STATE REPS:  yearbook will take your group photo on TUESDAY, MARCH 28th at
12:30 on the front steps.  Please dress in professional attire.  See you there!
PIZZA!!!!  ASB will be providing pizza for the top homeroom/office for Cancer Fundraising during our fundraising
drive that starts MONDAY, March 27th.  So start looking in all the usual places for loose change!  Be sure to place
your donations in the fundraising box in your homeroom!
INTERACT MEETING:  Thursday, March 30th in Mrs. Greene’s room.  This is a MANDATORY meeting for everyone
interested in the San Diego Trip.  Pizza will be provided.  Remember, your attendance at Interact functions are
important – don’t risk your membership by not participating!

 TRI‐COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS NEEDS YOU!  Contact 760‐873‐3588 to join the volunteer list for various
upcoming events.  Table set up/take down, event prep, ticket sales, answering phones, etc.
 HIGH SCHOOL RODEO:  Association Fundraiser on April 7th & 8th.  Sign up in the G.O. (Guidance Office).

Architecture, or Urban Studies to pursue a transportation related career – 4 different scholarships!  
 CA ALARM ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP:  Students with a parent involved in Law Enforcement or Fire

 KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:  Are you an active practicing Catholic?  If so, see the Guidance Office for a copy
of the Knights of Columbus, Monsignor Maloney Council #8268 Scholarship.  Deadline to apply: May 2
 CALTRANS DISTRICT 9: Pursuing a transportation related career?  You should apply for the Cal Trans
District 9 Employees Scholarship. Deadline: April 21.
