The BUHS Boys Soccer team is currently 2-0  in the High Desert League. Today April 13th, the Broncos played at home against the Rosamond Roadrunners ending with a final score of 2-1 Broncos. Hugo Santana scored the first goal of the match with a penalty kick in the first half. The Roadrunners tied up the score with a corner kick late in the first half going into the second half tied, 1-1. Nearing the end of the second half, Teb Del Guidice takes the win for the Broncos with an Assist from Alex Landaverde in the last 10 minutes of the match. Team Captain Roberto Solorio was assisted off the field with an injury to his ankle in the first half.

For spectators wanting to view a home Bronco Boys Soccer match, due to specific COVID guidelines  4 people from each player’s household are allowed to attend and view the match from the stands. There will be social distancing enforced as well as mask-wearing enforced even outside for public safety. BUHS is trying to maintain health and safety for student-athletes and in-person viewers while attending school athletic activities. Any changes or modifications for safety guidelines will be announced promptly if they are to arise.
